• Can I only take the Coaching Fundamentals course without getting certified?

  Yes, you can absolutely take the 'Coaching Fundamentals (level 1)' course without necessarily pursuing a coaching certification by the ICF (International Coach Federation). This course can be an excellent opportunity to acquire basic coaching knowledge and develop your professional skills. You may choose to take the course for personal and professional enrichment, to improve your communication and leadership skills, or to better support your colleagues, clients, or teams...

• What are the steps to receive ICF certification?

  To obtain ICF (International Coach Federation) certification, there are three levels of certification: ACC (Associate Certified Coach), PCC (Professional Certified Coach), and MCC (Master Certified Coach).

  
  Each level of ICF certification (Associate Certified Coach - ACC, Professional Certified Coach - PCC, Master Certified Coach - MCC) has different prerequisites in terms of coach training, coach practice hours, and other requirements. Find all the prerequisites at this link.

• What sets our approach apart ?

  With training focused on concrete practice and experimentation, our approach aims to achieve tangible results and promote the adoption of key coaching behaviours and skills.

• What pedagogical concepts do you rely on?

  We rely on several key pedagogical concepts to guide our training approach, including experiential and collaborative learning among peers (practical activities, case studies, role-playing), reflective work and self-assessment, and systematic and constructive feedback. By combining these pedagogical concepts, we create a dynamic, stimulating, and effective learning environment that enables participants to acquire and develop coaching skills.

• Can I access grants or financial assistance?

  It should be noted that we are an accredited educational institution by Employment and Social Development Canada (number 7009/13630) and that our Certified Coach Pathway - Coaching Fundamentals (level 1) are considered full-time training.
  
  Tuition fees are tax-deductible. We issue tax receipts (T2202 Certificate for Tuition and Enrollment Fees for federal and tuition fee receipt for provincial). Federally, our institution is recognized by Employment and Social Development Canada as an educational institution (possibility to finance your training with your Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)).
  
  Skills Law - Training fees incurred in our Certified Coach Pathway - Coaching Fundamentals are eligible under the Skills Law. Indeed, we are recognized by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail as an accredited trainer under the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition.   Workforce Training Measure. You can also obtain financial assistance through the workforce training measure. Contact your local employment center (CLE) for more details.

  Our training is also recognized by the CRHA order.

• Whom are the coaches leading the training?

  Our team of coaches consists of 8 certified coaches (PCC and MCC) who are experienced and skilled.

  
  Our exceptional pedagogical team brings together high-level professionals with recognized experience in organizations to enrich the evolution of the training based on real-world experiences and to ensure the success of your training project.

  
  We have adopted a dynamic pedagogical approach by rotating coaches for each training module. This rotation allows us to offer a diversity of pedagogical approaches, enriching the learning experience for participants. Each coach brings their own expertise, unique teaching style, and personal perspective, fostering a rich and varied learning environment.

  
  Among our coaching trainers, we have: Sylvie-Anne Leroux (PCC coach), Marie-Hélène Demers (PCC coach), Izabel Coutu (MCC coach), Monique Daigle (PCC coach), Dominique Barbès (MCC coach), Guylaine Carle (PCC coach), Sophie Gélinas (PCC coach), and Blandine Benoist (PCC coach).

• What materials are included in the training?

  The educational material is included in the cost of the training, so there are no additional fees to expect. This material includes a comprehensive pedagogical booklet containing our coaching approaches and tools, theoretical sheets, a complete bibliography, as well as access to our free B12 learning platform. This platform provides easy access to course content, case studies, practical exercises, and videos, offering a rewarding learning experience for all participants.

• How many participants are there?

  Each group (or cohort) consists of a maximum of 10 people virtually and 12 people in-person. We prioritize small groups of participants to encourage a better diversity of experiences and to facilitate learning through enriching exchanges.
